Cell Phone Case

I actually sewed something! Gosh, it is hard. I managed barely to make this neat little cell phone pocket for my new mp3 playing phone. It has drawn attention and I am happy with the results.

Felted Pillow

I got a felting kit as a Christmas gift from Jimmy. The project took a while, but here is the ready pillow. Except I still need buttons. They need to be a perfect match and I haven't found them yet. I regret not taking pictures when the pillow was in making. It as HUGE! The washing machine method did wonders to that and now we have a great new accesory to our living room.

Alpaca Rabbit Pixie

"Cover your ears!" This is what I heard my poor ears screaming while pushing Nikolas' pram in the gusting wind in the park. The plead turned into this fun hat from Blue Sky Alpacas Sport. The yarn is from my knitting Heaven, Purl Soho yarn shop in SoHO, NYC. I got it over our Thanksgiving visit. I had the bunny idea from Elizabeth Doherty's Amigurumi bunny. The whole thing turned out crazy good!

Felted Little Purse

This is a left over yarn project. I had some overstock from the pillow felting project and I turned it into this cool little purse. It has a jeans zipper. I adored this lining fabric pattern and used it also for my new cell phone case.

Sweetheart Socks

This by far the spiciest pattern I've ever done. The cable pattern is so complicated I had to go back a gazillion times. The yarn is Knit Picks Essential. Still not sure if I like it. It is a real lint buster after washing and drying. But it is really cheap.

Winter knitting updates

Long time no seeing... Still been knitting, though. It is so cold in Chicago this year I've just been curling up into a ball of yarn and let my needles show the way. And there are results. Enjoy!
